Happy birthday Nannie!

Grandpa gave Nannie such a special treat for her birthday… a trip to New York City to go to the American Girl Doll Place with US!!!! Mommy thought we would love it, and she was DEFINITELY right! There were SO many cool outfits to choose from (we each got to pick out one outfit as a special treat), and we had the most special “girly” lunch with Mommy, Nannie & Aunt Bridget! Thanks for a great day!

There were so many cool accessories for our dolls… there was even a whole display case of different glasses we could choose!

Emily LOVED the “Bitty Baby” floor, where she could play with and dress all the little babies!

We had a VERY special lunch!

It started with warm cinnamon rolls…

… which was HEAVENLY for Emily!

They gave us high chairs for our dolls to sit at the table with us, and they even got their very own teacup and saucer to drink out of!

Our appetizer tray was delicious…

… and Abby especially loved the baby carrots with the green stems still on them!

They had very cool “conversation starters” on the table, which provided us with quite a bit of entertainment!

Our dessert tray was so fun! We each got our own little dirt cake!

After lunch, we met up with the boys, and took a walk in the city!

Even baby “Lay-um” enjoyed a sunny afternoon in the city!

Abby can ALWAYS make babies smile! She’s going to be a great babysitter someday!

Emily just wanted to catch a bird so badly!

She spent HOURS playing on the steps of the NYC Public Library.

Ice cream from Grandpa in the city is always SO much better!

What an exhausting day!
