I had my first trial run of sleeping in a big girl bed at naptime today! Well, it was just my mattress on my floor next to my crib, but I thought it was REALLY cool! Too bad I couldn’t figure out how to stay in it, and my fun only lasted 10 minutes until mommy & daddy put me back in my crib. Now that I’ve had a taste of freedom, I can’t wait to try it again!

We spent a very special Father’s Day this year celebrating our daddy by taking him to the Land of Make Believe, an amusement and waterpark near our house. We think it was a good idea too, because we weren’t sure who had more fun… daddy or us!

We loved the carousel, as usual… especially Emily!
There were so many awesome rides that Emily & I could go on together!
And there were PLENTY for us to go on with daddy too, although he didn’t love all of the “spinny” ones… and there were A LOT of them!
Emily even got to go on her very first roller coaster, and Abby got to sit all by herself!

We enjoyed fun carnival snacks, but our favorite was DEFINITELY the cotton candy!
After lunch, we moved onto the waterpark, and had a blast!

Mommy’s very sad today, as it was my last day of preschool until I start up again in September… I’ve had so much fun at Grandma Worthing’s this year, and have learned so much! I have mastered all of my letters (both reading and writing), am excelling at some pretty high counting these days, have gotten VERY good at my cutting and coloring, LOVE trying to do math & rhyming, and am getting ready to start reading a few words! I can’t wait to go back in the fall and see what else I can learn!

Here are pictures from my first and last days of this school year… I’ve grown up so much!
We had a special picnic at Grandma Worthing’s for the last day of school, and all of the moms & siblings got to come along too!
We also all brought our bathing suits and had so much fun in the sprinklers & the waterslide… especially Emily, who stole the show, as usual on the waterslide!
I wasn’t too sure about the waterslide again…
… but going down with all of my friends & Abby Connor’s dad made it pretty fun!
