We’ve been hearing about this snow storm for a few days now, but the reports have been pretty mixed… We figured we would probably get somewhere between 3-24 inches! Before it even started, Daddy’s flight home from Atlanta got cancelled and he found out he wouldn’t be able to get home before Monday evening. We were pretty bummed that our snow partner wouldn’t be there, but Mommy didn’t do so bad as a stand in… especially since she’s sick! We can’t wait to go back out again tomorrow for more!
When we woke up, there were already a few inches on the ground…
And we were ready to go right away!
Abby tried to make Ben a snow tunnel…
But it wasn’t deep enough yet…
There was a lot of wind with this storm, so Ben was even able to dig in his sandbox under the playhouse!
Abby made her very own Eiffel Tower!
Ben and Emily were ready to come in pretty early, but that was mostly because they wanted hot chocolate!
With the open house on our house cancelled and Daddy unable to come home, we’ve trashed the house (Mommy’s happy not to be cleaning), and we’ve been watching movies all cuddled up on the couch bed in the living room!
After lunch, the snow just kept coming down harder! We couldn’t open the fence more than a few inches to get out!
We were SO ready to go out again and brave the storm!

There was quite a bit more snow when we finally went back in!
When Mommy tried to take a picture out of her window, the snow fell in her room… that’s how high it is!
