We’ve been working on potty training for what seems like FOREVER around here, but I finally decided I was big enough to try it, and I’m doing great! I’ve been peeing on the potty for a long time now, but number two is a different story… Mommy & daddy have been trying EVERYTHING they could think of, but I just haven’t been ready… until now! I have a special princess potty crown that I get to add a special jewel sticker to, every time I go on the big girl potty. Today I earned my second sticker, because I went all by myself without my mommy or daddy even asking me to! Woo hoo! They are SO excited, because they are REALLY tired of changing stinky pull-ups. In fact, they are so tired of changing diapers that I think they’re going to get an early start and begin working with Ben now…

These are my favorite parts in my special princess potty book!
After spending a week at Nannie & Grandpa’s house, we headed straight to Sesame Place to put our season passes to good use! We thought that since it was the end of summer, and the middle of the week, we might be able to beat the crowds, but we were wrong! EVERYBODY was thinking the same thing, and it was VERY busy, but we had a great time anyway! We thought Emily might be brave this time, and want to try the roller coaster, but she claimed that she’s still not big enough, and wanted to wait a little longer… maybe next time!

Daddy and Abby went on the fun “up and down” ride, and Emily even waited in line with them until she chickened out at the last minute… we had fun anyways!
Ben loved riding the caterpillar ride with mommy too!
Daddy doesn’t like the teacups much, so he let mommy take us all on it, while he snapped a few pictures! Ben LOVED trying to make us spin!
After a fun filled day, we piled into the car to head home, but about 20 minutes into the trip, mommy & daddy stopped to surprise us with a special treat!
We LOVE staying in hotels!!!!!
Ben is a LITTLE bit more work now that he is VERY good at crawling, and he gets into EVERYTHING! Mommy liked it better when he stayed where she put him!
When we headed back to Sesame Place for day 2, we knew it was going to be busy again, so this time we had a plan… We were the first ones in line, and headed straight for the big waterslide as soon as the gates opened. Even Emily was brave enough to go on it this time! Mommy got some great shots of us coming down! It was awesome!
Next, we headed straight for the other waterslide, and Abby was finally big enough to go all by herself this time, and loved every minute of it!
Emily loved going down with daddy too!
Emily said she even felt brave enough to go on the high swings, and she LOVED it!
We loved all the rides!
We loved taking Ben to his very first Elmo show, and he loved watching them on stage!
At the end, Abby & Emily even got to go up and watch the show from the stage! And guess who shook their hands???? Zoe and ELMO!!!!!! They were SO excited!
What an awesome trip to Sesame Place! We can’t wait to come back again! Thank mom & dad!
This is always the sign of a good, exhausting trip…
Daddy took the week off of work, and we spent the time having a fun vacation at our Nannie & Grandpa’s house with our little cousin Liam. The crazy part was that Nannie & Grandpa weren’t even there for most of it! They got to go on an awesome cruise to celebrate their anniversary, and they let us stay and hang out at their house! We spent a TON of time on the tire swing that Grandpa fixed up for us (Liam and Ben even got their first rides in!), we took Grandpa’s truck down to the beach to try and get some good pictures, we went shopping at the outlets, played a bunch of games, went swimming at the beach, and even went “sightseeing” in Greenport one afternoon, where we ate a seafood feast right on the water!

Mommy tried to hard to get a great picture of the grandkids together, but I think she needs to keep trying…
…Sometimes it’s just better getting a really bad one…BTW: Ben likes to eat rocks, and Liam isn’t so good at sitting yet!
The boys had a great time hanging out with each other, and Ben just wanted to be touching Liam, holding his hand, or poking his eye out at all times!
They had a blast in the tire swing together too! They are going to grow up to be the best buddies!
We spent one afternoon down at the beach, and enjoyed some swimming & sand castle making too…
The water was full of crazy jumping fish, and mommy even caught one on camera! They were so much fun to watch.
We ended our trip with a trip to Greenport to check out the town, have a seafood lunch on the water, and even ride the carousel on the water. We had a great time!
We had an awesome week together! Thanks for letting us use your house Nannie & Grandpa!
