My First Birthday Party!
Today was my first birthday party and we had a big bash at a park with lots of my friends and family! We had 18 kids keeping the grown-ups busy, but we all had so much fun! I’ve been sick with a pretty bad cold, but I still loved every minute of my special party! Thanks everyone for coming to celebrate with me, and for those who couldn’t make it… enjoy the pictures!
Mommy went with an All-Star theme, and had so much fun with it!
She made special water bottle labels…
… and a really cool photo banner of my first year! I’ve grown so much!
Every table had balloons, sports lollipops, and pictures of ME!
Of all the 18 kids there, I liked playing with my friend Jake the most! He just turned one in May, so we’re almost the same age!
My sisters liked hanging out with their favorite friends too!
Nannie, Grandpa, Bridget & Liam made the trip to come to my party too! Mommy says to say thanks for all your help!
The minute the Doritos were put on the tables, the party started!
The kids all had fun playing so many games that mommy & daddy had planned… One of the favorites was cornhole!
Grandpa liked showing off his hula hoop skills, but we thought he looked silly and Nannie thought he looked crazy…
Everyone loved the balloon popping game! Unfortunately, the first round of balloons popped too early, so we had to use the helium ones instead which made it a little harder but so much fun!
Grandpa was a great hula hoop holder for the javelin toss, but I think the kids liked hitting him with the javelins more than getting them through the hoops!
There were lots of fun rounds of beach volleyball too!
Everyone loved the sports lollipops…
Mommy made special sports cupcakes, but they all melted in the hot sun before it was dessert time!
She even made some baseball cake pops too!
The best part of dessert was my very own baseball “smash” cake! She spent hours making this cake just so I could play with it! Thanks mom!
I LOVED it, but I wasn’t really in the mood to get too dirty…
I did “smash” it a bit to make mommy happy though!
I think I’d had enough…
The cake was actually pretty good!
What an awesome birthday with family & friends!
Before everyone left the party, they signed my special picture frame for my room, so I can always remember my special day! Thanks again to everyone for an awesome day!
