Mommy & daddy are going to be VERY busy now... With all my new found freedom thanks to this crawling thing, I've finally figured out how to climb stairs! Woohoo!

Winter wonderland!
We are having ANOTHER big snow storm at my house, and daddy got to stay home AGAIN to play with me! It's been really windy too, so we have between 12-20 inches! Can you find me in the driveway by daddy's car??? I am standing up! .

I tried getting to my slide, but had to give up half way because I couldn't make it through the snow...

I helped mommy and daddy shovel a little bit... I'm really good at shoveling the snow ONTO the driveway! I had a much better time throwing snowballs at mommy though!

Sink or float? That is the question!!!
Winter is SO long, and the snow is never going to end, but I'm having a blast playing with mommy inside! Since I loved the volcano at school so much, she came up with another science project to do together this morning. She filled up a big pot of water while I found all kinds of things around the house, and we tested each one to see if it would sink or float. I was surprisingly good at it too! Did you know that heavy things sink to the bottom, and light things float on top??? I also learned that things with holes in them (like mommy's little strainer) filled with water and sank to the bottom! Science is awesome!

I'm having a blast with myself these days!
I am so busy these days! I love playing peek-a-boo, waving at EVERYONE who will notice, crawling & getting into EVERYTHING, pulling myself up, cruising around the furniture, and even pretending to talk to daddy on the phone! Pretty soon I'll be standing and walking, and then.... look out world! Here I come!!!!

Hawaiian Day at preschool
Now that we're all beginning to feel better, mommy finally had preschool again! We've missed the past 3 weeks, and it has been really cold and snowy, so she decided to throw us a luau to teach us about Hawaii (and pretend she wasn't in New Jersey in February...). We all had a blast!

We decorated the basement together with palm trees (thanks to grandpa's box of decorations), real hawaiian mu-mus (thanks to Mor-Mor), leis, and even had tropical music playing when everyone got here!
Yesterday, mommy & I made a special poster to teach everyone about all the fun stuff to see in Hawaii... there are waterfalls, cool tropical fish, palm tress, luaus, leis, hula dancers, and even volcanos!
Daddy and I built our very own volcano this past weekend, and my friends and I LOVED making it erupt... OVER and OVER and OVER again! We even got to see a movie of a real volcano erupting!
Mommy read us a story called "Mrs. McGee's Coconut", and we got to touch, smell and taste a REAL coconut! Did you know they are REALLY hard, hairy & even have milk in them?!?! Mommy made us a whole hawaiian feast of different fruits to try, and we had to mark on our charts whether we liked them or not. We got to taste bananas, strawberries, pineapple, mango, kiwi, papaya, coconut, grapes, mai tai's, and even macadamia nuts... We all tried EVERYTHING! Our mommies were very proud of us!

Fairy Cookies!
My Aunt Bridget came to visit for a few days during her winter break, and we got to make the fairy cookies that she bought me for my birthday! They were so awesome... I got to mix, roll out the dough, frost, "paint", sprinkle & then eat them! They were beautiful! (At least mommy told me they were!) Thanks for a great project Aunt Bridget!

My 1st Not-So-Happy Valentine's Day
Mommy tried to get some good Valentine's pictures of my first Valentine's Day, but I was NOT having it... I have been sick with ear infections, sinus infections, a cough, runny nose, and teething, so I don't know what she was thinking even TRYING this year... Maybe we can try again in a few weeks! Happy Valentine's Day everyone!
