Oak Island: Day 2

Day 2 at the beach definitely started a bit rainy, so we enjoyed some indoor activities before heading to the beach for a bit... My morning coffee time on the porch with Sara was always the best way to start the day!

And this one still LOVES the hammock!

We taught everyone some cards games...

...painted some tiny toes...

... and made some beach braids!

Getting beautiful can be hard and boring work when you're three...

Thank goodness I brought legos for Ben!!!

Rainy mornings are perfect for baking...

We also had fun with some coloring, Minecraft time & bracelet making with Uncle Paul!

We also spent some rain time painting rocks... It was a fun activity even though all the paint washed off in the next passing storm :(

When the rain passed, we headed over to Uncle Paul's to check on the crabs, and then for a quick stroll on the beach to feed the birds before it was time to swim again...

Emily loved this "foot" shell she found!

And luckily, this was the only jelly-fish we saw on our trip!

A break in the clouds, and they were back to the ocean and boogie-boarding!

After dinner, it was time to pull out Lexie's tooth, swing in the hammock and eat cake!

Day 2 was a success!
