We had an awesome time on our Easter/Spring Break/Emily’s birthday weekend in Williamsburg! We spent three days exploring Busch Gardens and Jamestown Settlement, hanging out in the hotel and so much more! We even got our Easter baskets there and did an egg hunt! We hope you all had a wonderful Easter too!
Ben loaded up some Easter eggs with Legos for Mom to hide in our hotel room, so she hid them while we went down to the pool for a bit, and she even sneaked some money in the eggs for us!
Emily wanted to try an Escape Room for part of her birthday weekend, and we were so lucky that there was one right across the street from the hotel! We had one hour in a pretty dark room to pretend to be the “Last Samurai”, and solve puzzles and clues to open 6 different locks around the room, and ultimately find the lost “Lucky Cat”. We worked so awesome together as a team, and solved the mystery with 12 minutes left on the clock!
We also had fun doing a picture scavenger hunt around the hotel…
We wrapped up our last night of vacation with ice cream for dinner at Emily’s request… We found a delicious local ice cream shop, and it was the perfect ending to an awesome trip!
