The Cruisin’ Beach Family: Day 3

We woke up this morning to see the beautiful turquoise waters of Bermuda, and Mom was very happy to see LAND!

The best part of today, wasn’t that we were in Bermuda, but that it was Ben’s 6th birthday! Mom had lots of friends and family write messages to him, and we put them up all around our room for him to see when he woke up in the morning! He loved each and every one of them!

He picked his own birthday breakfast… Fruit loops, and of course, ice cream!

He got to open a few awesome presents we brought with us too!

Good morning sleepyhead!

We got off the ship so we could make our way to the pink sand beach of Horseshoe Bay for the day (or more likely an hour before our crew started getting bored)…

After getting back to the ship, we found our next towel animal… a hanging monkey!

Ben really just wanted to build his Lego sets all day, and it was his birthday, so Lego sets it was!

We got dressed and headed off to another night of glutinous eating, and Liam was our photographer that night!

As soon as the ship left the port, the winds started up, the waves began to grow and the ship began to rock… Mom (and soon to be Dad) didn’t feel much like drinking, so the kids got to have a bunch of Shirley Temples and virgin Strawberry Daiquiris!

242

The magician that came around to our table each night had more fun tricks up his sleeve for us!

Ben even got a birthday cake and we sang our hearts out to him on his “cruise ship birthday”!

It was another awesome day, and a pretty amazing way to spend your 6th birthday!
