I was all ready to get this thing started, but evidently, you have to PRACTICE first!?!?!? I did AWESOME during the rehearsal, but looking back, maybe I should have just done it once… The flower girl and I were not as into doing our jobs on the real day… Oh well, at least Mommy got pictures of us doing it right once!
My first meeting with Victoria, the flower girl, went well, and I think she liked my superheroes too!
We played hide-n-seek while waiting for everything to start!
Grandpa Hawk liked learning about my superheroes too…
I was AWESOME during the rehearsal! I listened and followed directions, even though it was super boring for a four-year old!
We practiced the processional…
The violinist played beautifully… Too bad she was late and missed the actual wedding
Uncle Ryan looked so nervous… and this was only the PRACTICE wedding!!!
Showtime! It was our turn to show off our aisle walking skills!
Now it was the brides turn!
Aunt Jen & Uncle Aaron had a special role as “godparents of the coins”, which is a wedding tradition in Aunt Kristie’s culture. They had to present the bride and groom with gold Mexican coins during the ceremony…
I told you it was boring… Good thing I hit it off so well with Cousin Steve!
After the rehearsal, we headed over to the famous Chicago pizza place, Lou Malnati’s, for the rehearsal dinner. Mor-Mor did a great job putting it all together!
Mor-Mor had a fun game, where we had to guess what Ryan and Kristie’s favorite things were… They sure have some weird ones!
Pepperkaker cookies and mustaches???
Ninja Turtles and ice cream???
Peanut butter & Jelly!
Hair coloring & Richie Rich comics?!?!?
The kids (and some grown-ups) had fun with the wedding bubbles!
After all these festivities, it’s time to head back and get some rest for the big day!!!!
