On our second morning in Washington DC, we all got dressed in our matching shirts and headed back into the city for a tour of the Capitol building, and to take a REALLY LONG walk to the American History museum. We might have little legs, but we did so great!
There were those buddies again!
Ben loved sporting his “Future President” shirt!
The Rotunda was amazing, and we actually had a pretty good time on our tour…
… probably because our tour guide, Trevor, played with us, and let us cover him in our sticker passes when were heading out of the Capitol through the underground tunnels!
All the buildings in Washington are HUGE!
Mommy made scavenger hunts for all of the kids to do while we were walking around DC and in some of the museums, so we took a few minutes on the Capitol steps to catch up on what we had found!
The American History Museum was a lot of fun, but we were too exhausted to enjoy much of it… We really just wanted to leave and head back to the hotel pool!
This just about sums up how we all felt at the end of the day!!!
