Trip to downtown Charlottesville, Virginia

One morning we decided to take a trip into downtown Charlottesville to hang out with our cousins, do a little shopping, and go to their little children’s museum. It was a lot of fun, but once again, all we really wanted to do was leave and go home to play in the pool!

The Children’s museum had a cute little cottage, where you could pick your own vegetables from the garden, “cook” it over the open fire, and feed your guests! When you were done, you could even go out to the barn and take care of the animals!

There was a fun art center where we made all kind of cool projects, and Emily loved “painting” a picture with glue…

In their fairytale land, there was a Rapunzel tower where we could try braiding her long hair.

Uncle Brett took a rest in Grandma’s house…

… and then along came Little Red Riding Hood…

Everything was going fine until the the wolf appeared!

Uncle Aaron even pretended to be the wolf…

… He huffed and he puffed…

… and he blew down or little pig house we built!

Emily loved having a tea party with the Three Little Bears…

… and I think Uncle Aaron did too!

Abby sold Emily some magic beans…

… and Emily grew quite the beanstalk!

Even Ben enjoyed his trip to the museum!
