Day 3: Happy Valentine’s Day & The Lobster Boil!

Today was our Valentine celebration! The day was filled with pinks, reds, massages and time spent together with the people we love!

We started our day with a boat ride to enjoy Dock n Dine at Frye’s leap, along with some tubing on the way home!

Emily LOVED driving the boat!

Almost as much as Ben did!

Uncle Ryan and Aunt Kristie surprised Jenn and Aaron by asking them to be the godparents of the coins at their wedding, a Spanish wedding tradition that they are excited to be a part of.

190

Ben was surprised with a “Ring Security” t-shirt, and was asked to be the ring bearer at their wedding next summer! Hopefully another year older will have him up to the task!

Frye’s Leap was just as we remembered it, but we didn’t see anyone jumping today…

195

We had a blast together at Dock n Dine on the island for lunch by the water!

The kids set up a station for couples massages, and we all got to sign up for a time to relax! They did a great job!

Everyone had their jobs to make the boil run smoothly this year, and it went great when we worked as a team!

292

293

Kristie made everyone their hats for the boil…

294

The guys shucked corn…

296

The Rubes picked non-exploding rocks, but they got off easy if you ask me… we used to send them out swimming for them!

It wouldn’t be a boil in Maine if Aunt Barb wasn’t at the table an hour after everyone else was done! Some traditions never die!
