This afternoon we took a trip with our Nannie to the living historical farm near our house, where we got to feed some animals, water the garden, milk the wooden cow, churn the butter, wash the laundry & more! We LOVE going to the farm, and were so excited to show Nannie all the things we do there!
Someone forgot to tell Ben to water the flowers and not his shoes…
Daddy even tried his hand at plowing the garden!
The girls washed the horse straps and saddles…
Ben went fishing in the bucket…
Churning the butter in the old farm house is ALWAYS the highlight…
Emily loved helping with all the chores…
The favorite activity of the day was washing the laundry!
We learned how to shuck and grind the corn for the chicken feed…
Ben loved the big tractor!
A few quick rides on the old cars, and we had a great day!
