Happy Valentine’s Day!

Today was a super-special Valentine’s Day at our house filled with lots of love, hugs, kisses & sweets! We had lots of heart shaped treats and fun games Mommy made for us! We hope your day was as sweet as ours was!

-Abby, Emily & Ben

1

This happens A LOT in our house… we just can’t get enough of our adorable brother!

3

We started our day with a “hearty” breakfast of heart cereal and donut holes before school!

4

After eating and before getting on the bus, we found a special clue on our bedroom door… Mommy had made a special Valentine’s Day scavenger hunt for us!

7

5

This first clue took me a minute, because I didn’t think we had any mice in our house… Good thing Mommy was there to help me out!

9

We rushed to the computer to find our surprise, but all we found was another clue…

10

… so it was off to the shower to see if our treat was waiting for us there…

11

…Nope… another clue… We had even forgotten that there was a treasure to find, because we just loved figuring out the clues!

We were pretty excited to find special Valentine’s goody bags waiting for us when we got to the end of the treasure hunt!

Abby took her time, opening slowly and reading each thing she opened, while Emily just ripped through everything in under a minute!

Ben did a great job opening his presents all by himself, and he LOVED his new picture book! Maybe he’ll start saying our names soon!

Abby’s favorite gift in her whole goody bag was her empty notebook that she could write in and keep her own journal! Her very first entry was a sweet Valentine’s message to Mommy!

33

After school, Mommy had invited a few of our friends back to the house to have a special Valentine’s lunch! She cut EVERYTHING into heart shapes, and we loved it all!

40

We each made our own heart pizzas, and the pepperoni, peppers & mushrooms were even heart-shaped!

They turned out pretty great, and our friends loved them!

46

Mor-Mor and Grandpa Dave sent us a super special heart popcorn ball making kit, so after lunch, we decorated them with our friends and had so much fun! Thanks Mor-Mor & Grandpa Dave!

When everyone left, we got to go through all of our Valentine’s that we got at school! There were so many cards, pencils & sweet treats to go through!

These are the Valentine’s that we made with Mommy to pass out to our friends at our schools. Mommy says Pintrest is ruining her life because she’s always trying to make homemade things now, but we thought they were great! Since Emily learned how to write her name last week, she signed every Valentine all by herself!

64

Abby was especially excited to give Miss Gilroy her teacher Valentine! She loves signing her name with hearts over her “I’s” now!

65

We made special Valentine’s for Mommy & Daddy too, and they LOVED them!

We even ended our super sweet day with some pink heart pancakes for dinner and a special monster valentine cookie for Daddy! We hope your Valentine’s Day was as special as our was!
