So, even with the huge snow storm this weekend, my Nannie & Grandpa, Uncle Kevin, Aunt Bridget & cousin Liam braved the roads to come and finally celebrate my 6th birthday with a very ORANGE carrot party! Everyone wore some shade of orange or green, and we had a feast of carrot foods, played carrot games in the snow, and had carrot cake cupcakes! Thank you everyone for coming and for making my day so special!

I blew up all the orange and green balloons by myself!
Mommy even painted my nails ORANGE!!!!
My sister and I LOVE posing for goofy pictures these days…
I helped mommy decorate the table with TONS of orange & green & carrots!!!
For our lunch, we had goldfish and orange chips wrapped in carrot bags…
… homemade carrot soup…
…Carrot-looking crescent roll sandwiches that mommy found on Pinterest…
…Carrot smoothies…
…Orange white chocolate dipped strawberries & carrot cake cookies…
…and of course, a carrot cake cupcake tower!
Six candles really are A LOT of candles to blow out! Especially when they are the tricky relighting kind!
After lunch, we all headed outside to play in the snow & to have a rousing game of “carrot” baseball! Thanks for the carrot bat and ball Mor-Mor!
We all played in the awesome igloo daddy made for us!!!
Ben wasn’t too sure about heading in there to play…
He just wanted to hang out sledding with his buddy, Liam!
Liam isn’t exactly “loving” the snow this year, but he came around by the end… a little…
Grandpa made us a great sledding hill off the side of daddy’s igloo, and we all had a blast testing it out!
… Okay, maybe Liam didn’t have a blast, but the rest of us did!!!
We exhausted Uncle Kevin as he made an awesome snowman for us, and guess how we dressed it up???
With carrots, of course!!! Thanks Uncle Kevin!
Nannie & Grandpa got me an adorable outfit for my American Doll with a whole set to play school with her! They are also giving me money towards taking swimming lessons, which I am VERY excited about!
She also got me a new case for my iPhone so that Daddy doesn’t take mine to work by accident anymore! (Since there’s no cell phone service on it, that’s kind of a problem for him!)
Aunt Bridget (and Uncle Kevin & Liam) outdid themselves with tons of teacher stuff for the basement where we play school! It is my favorite thing to do these days, and Emily loves it too!
