Ben was our only kid to go through all of Elementary School while living here in NC, and I have no idea where the time has gone! He has grown so much this year, and we can't wait to see what adventures lie ahead in Middle School for him!
Like a true boy, his Elementary School diploma came home in a crumpled ball, but we're still proud of his accomplishments!
Even though Ben never missed a day being first at the bus stop (which meant he left 30 minutes before the bus came every day...), he always looked out for our neighbor and made sure she got on the bus! They've grown a lot from the first day of school together this year!
When the kids got off the bus on the last day of school, we were waiting in the bushes to jump out and start a water gun fight with them to start our summer off right! We're so glad they took it well!
We also celebrated that night with a pizza party & cake! Here are our 5th & 8th grade graduates and good friends celebrating together!
Ben's friends from school also had a neighborhood pool party for all the 5th graders... There were almost 100 people there to celebrate, and it was a great way for the kids to wrap up the year together!
