Universal Trip: Day 4

On our last park day, we decided to take advantage of the early park admission so we could see some of the Harry Potter things in Diagon Alley while it wasn't too busy... We had so much fun exploring, getting butterbeer ice cream for breakfast, casting spells, visiting the Knight bus, seeing Sirus Black's house & finding Kreecher in the window, and even getting to finally see the dragon breathe fire! Mom was just so happy that everyone was still willing to stop and smile for pictures!

Abby loved enjoying Mom's Starbucks in an almost empty amusement park, right in front of the super scary Rip Ride Rocket coaster!

Diagon alley wasn't empty, but SO much less crowded, and it was so fun to experience it that way!

We finally got to see the dragon breathe fire too!

Diagon alley is filled with spells marked on the ground, and when you do the motions correctly, we could cast dozens of cool spells with our magic wands!

We got to see the Knight bus and talk to the driver too!

We saw Sirus Black's house, and we found Kreecher, the house elf, peeking out from the window above the door every couple of minutes! Can you find him in some of the pics?

A few more spells before heading to the rides...

We took one last ride on one of our favorites... Escape from Gringotts!

Time to head to King's Cross station to take the Hogwart's Express to the other park for a few more favorite repeat rides...

Apparently, you can "walk through" a brick wall to get to platform 9 3/4 just like they do in Harry Potter, but Dad didn't find the right one...

We found it! Check out how cool it looks on the video!

We split up in a couple different groups to re-ride some our favorites... Dad, Emily & Ben headed to Spiderman...

Mom & Abby headed back to The Hulk roller coaster...

The girls enjoyed the Forbidden Castle ride one more time...

Abby & Dad got in one more run on the Rip Ride Rocket...

Emily, Ben & Mom rode the Transformers ride and met Optimus Prime, and went to see some Minions!

It was time to wrap it up early and head to City Walk for lunch and head back to the hotel for a dip in the pool!

It wasn't perfect weather for the pool, but the sun peeked through a few times and we got to enjoy a little sun and lounging by the pool at the end of our trip!

We had such an amazing adventure at Universal and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter! We were sad to head home, but also completely exhausted and full of memories to last a lifetime! We hope you enjoyed sharing our journey with us!
