We went to an awesome park in Raleigh with some neighbor friends to celebrate Christmas with a train ride, seeing the lights, visiting Santa, making reindeer food, and even sledding! We didn’t think it really snowed here, so we were pretty excited! We’ve been loving celebrating Jesus’ birthday this year in our new home and with some many new friends and new experiences!
The train took us all around the park to see the light displays!
Rudolph was even there! (Although I don’t think it was the REAL Rudolph since he was wearing sneakers…)
We got to color pictures and write letters to Santa while we waited…
Ben was absolutely enamored with Santa, and he would have stayed there visiting with him all day!
Abby thought she was too old to sit on Santa’s lap, but he sure tried! She won though…
Emily mailed her letter to Santa to the North Pole!
We made some reindeer food to sprinkle on our lawn on Christmas Eve so they will find our house!
The best part of the night was the sledding!!! I didn’t even know there could be snow when it was 50 degrees out!
What fun memories!!!!!!
