The night before moving day… things were pretty crazy around here! Only ONE day left, and we were on our way out of our house and onto our new adventure in NC!
Emily wanted to see how many friends she could fit into her suitcase… The consensus was not very many…
Mommy had a long night of packing ahead of her, since she also had to pack for 6 nights in hotels before we get to our new house, and Daddy had been out of town all week!
The morning of the move was beautiful, and it was the last day of school for the girls!
Ben was pretty excited to see the big truck pull up!
The movers were AWESOME with Ben, and let him pretend to drive the truck!
Ben called the shrink wrap, the “farting tape”…
… and he helped the movers throw garbage bags down the stairs!
Mommy was very happy to see that they labeled every box with a number, so they made sure that every box arrived!
The girls were excited to come home to a practically empty house and loved playing hide and seek with the boxes that were left.
Ben’s room was emptied first, and he pretended to sleep where his bed used to be….
Our room looked pretty empty too…
Good thing there were some good helpers to clean as we went!
The movers were amazing at making MOST of our stuff fit!
Everyone loved playing in the empty house!
Emily was in charge of taking a few pictures of the empty rooms, and her choices were… interesting….
Mommy took a few pictures too…
Mommy & Daddy had a hard time leaving, but we made it!
Our realtor gave us a wonderful gift, and it is true… There will always be a special place in our hearts for New Jersey!

Very cheerful relocation turned out, I see that the children were very happy with it. I once used the services of this company https://movers.best/orange-county/newport-beach-movers. Everything was done quickly and efficiently. It was fun. I think that for children, moving to a new home is fun entertainment. All the experiences of disappear with the first arrival of a new home.
