We have the two best daughters in the world! When Abby found out that we had never been to prom, she decided to make one for us! They worked so hard with our babysitter Kara decorating last last, and all day today setting up all the details! Abby did a bunch of “research” on the internet to find out how to throw a prom, and they had decorations, music, dancing, food, punch, fancy clothes, a king and queen, and more! Check out how awesome our basement prom, “Winter Wonderland” turned out!

It all started with a bit of pampering by the girls… they did my hair, nails, makeup, and picked out my clothes and jewelry!
It was time to head to the prom, and there was a photographer there ready to take our pictures as we came in!
They set up a photo booth backdrop too!

Our snack table had punch & lemonade, soda, crackers, popcorn, candy & even Beanboozled… vomit flavored jelly beans!
Brian was pretty skilled at pouring punch with a huge ladle into a little shot glass! He was such a gentleman getting me a drink first!
We had a whole playlist of songs to choose from for dancing!
Some of it was even live music!
It was quite a party!
Guess who was named prom King and Queen! How lucky were we?!?!?!?! Complete with Lego crowns!
Happy prom night to us, and thank you to our amazing girls for making this “once in a lifetime event” happen for us!
