We’ll always remember the day I turned 8! We got a huge snow storm, so school was cancelled, and Emily & I both came down with the flu

I got a beautiful bathrobe and slippers from Emily, which was PERFECT for a sick day at home!
Ben got me a bunch of awesome books, since he knows how much I love to read!
Mom & Dad got me my very own sketching set!
Candles in my blueberry muffin for breakfast!
Dad had to shovel us out of another 6-8” of snow before heading into work!
Poor Emily, woke up with the flu this morning… I tried hard keeping my germs to myself, but I guess it didn’t work
After resting, I enjoyed some quiet reading time with my new books!
I even found something to help me plan the perfect sleepover this weekend with my friend!
Mom & I played a bit with the green screen too!
I even enjoyed some time with my new sketching kit!
I wasn’t thrilled with my first try, but I’ll keep working at it!
Dad brought home sushi for dinner! My favorite!
He also brought our medicine home for the flu!
I picked out my own cake this year!
I took this make a wish thing very seriously this year…
