It’s my turn!

My sisters got to go off to school last week, and today, it’s finally my turn! I am heading off to my very first day of “Mommy & Me” preschool, and I get to play with Mommy there all morning! It’s an introduction to preschool for young kids, and I’m so excited to go this year… as long as they have trains to play with!

Did you ever wonder why a preschooler needs a backpack???? For your trains of course!

Mommy got my very first annual back to school picture in front of school!

When I got to my classroom, my teacher gave me my name tag to put on the board…

and showed me where my very own cubby was to hang up my backpack! Mommy said I did a great job following her directions!

I got straight to work playing with all of the toys…

 

… Until I found the train table! Thank goodness, because Mommy said she might not make it through if they didn’t have one! I even SHARED the trains with the other boys!!!

Can you believe my teachers like to play with trains too???

 

My teacher, Mrs. Chaux, let me ring the bell for circle time!

We got to dress weather bear…

We learned a little bit about the calendar…

We helped her tell the creation story from the bible…

And we learned each others names by playing a fun game!

After circle time, we headed outside to play, but not before we practiced singing “Put your finger on the wall…”!

I ran straight for the house to play with my sister Emily’s favorite phone!

I was a good friend today and played well with everyone!

My teacher even played on the slide with me!

I learned about magnifying glasses…

And I played a good game of basketball with my new friend, Weston!

I was a bit tired at the end of the day, but it was a great start to school for me!

Our art project today was to make a placemat with our handprints painted on it, but I’m just like mommy was on her first day, and I didn’t feel like painting…

Here was a picture of Mommy’s first day of preschool… she was proud of her “artwork” too!

I think I’m going to have an AWESOME year with Mommy, and can’t wait to see everything I learn!
