We celebrated this warm spring day (it was in the 50’s) with our first trip of the season to the Bronx Zoo with Nannie, Aunt Bridget & Liam. Thanks Grandpa Hawk & Grandma Nancy for the membership! We LOVE the zoo!
We headed straight for the Tigers, and we were in luck! They were out and came right up the glass to see us!
The polar bear must still be hibernating, because he didn’t wake up the whole 4 hours we were there!
The red panda was out & full of energy today. He was so cute to watch!
Ben & Daddy loved checking out the bears on the mountain!
Everyone loved riding the bugs on the carousel!
Abigail and Nannie rode in the poop bench! EEEWWWWW!
After lunch, we headed over to see the 4D movie… Since Liam is obsessed with Ice Age, and Ben is obsessed with Dinosaurs, we couldn’t have asked for a better film! Everyone loved it!
Next we headed over to the Congo Forest…
We had to enjoy the pictures of the gorillas because there were none to be found in the forest… I guess it was still a bit too cold for them.
Emily pretended to be a gorilla hanging out of the tree for our entertainment…
Thanks Nannie for the pressed pennies!
The boys loved having stroller wars on this nice warm day…
Before heading home, we stopped to see the giraffes who were still inside for the winter… They were beautiful, but a bit stinky!
Liam thought they were pretty stinky too…
What an awesome day! We can’t wait to go back when ALL the animals are there!
