Abigail & Emily had the day off of school today, so we all decided to bundle up and take a hike in the woods near our house. It’s a good thing my sisters got maps, because without Daddy there to guide us, Mommy got us a little lost. Oh well… it was just a longer hike for us, and we loved it!
We loved picking up sticks & leaves & climbing on old tree branches and big rocks… the woods are so much fun!

There were a lot of leaves on the ground covering sticks & stones, so there were plenty of falls, but we always got right back up!
When we got lost, we found the bridge, and it was the highlight of the trip!
Everyone helped to find the markers and follow the map to get back to our car, and we did pretty good!
Ben just found A LOT of leaves!
Thanks for an awesome morning Mommy! Next, time I think we’ll take Daddy though, so we know where we are!
