Happy Father’s Day!

Happy Father’s Day to our Daddy, Grandpa, Grandpa Hawk, Grandpa Dave, Pop-Pop and all the other great dads and grandpas out there! We love you all!

Mommy took us to the park to get some good shadow pictures for Daddy to frame for his desk at work, and looking at the “behind the scene” shots, it’s a wonder Mommy got anything at all! We had a lot of fun though!

Nannie & Grandpa came up on Saturday to bring us a HUGE swing set that used to be their neighbors! It is the best recycled gift we ever got! Grandpa spent a lot of time repainting it for us, renting a trailer to bring it to New Jersey, and setting it up with Daddy (with NO picture to follow). We REALLY love it! It’s like we have a park in our very own backyard now! Thank you Grandpa!

It didn’t take anytime at all for Ben to learn how to climb the ladder and go down the slide all by himself!

He didn’t do so great on the tube slide though… Somehow he got flipped around inside and came down head first, facing up!

He didn’t want to go down it anymore, so Grandpa thought he would go down with him so he wouldn’t be scared. We have NO idea how he fit in the tube, and were so thankful it didn’t break! I think the tube slide should be for just the kids from now on… (although Mommy & Daddy had to try it out at least once)!

Daddy tried out the monkey bars first to make sure they were good and strong…

… and they passed the test, so Grandpa helped us cross them too!

 

We even hung upside down on them, which gave Mommy & Nannie a heart attack!

 

We invited Nannie to come up the rock wall to be a part of our super secret girls club in the clubhouse (Mommy was inducted the next day too, and learned the secret password, handshake, and even got her own “club” name, but she’s not telling anyone)!

The best part is that we can all swing together now! We love it!

Thanks again Grandpa for getting this awesome playground for us!!!

Daddy spent his “actual” Father’s Day getting his hands dirty and starting the demolition of our kitchen! We think he actually had fun!
