The countdown in our house has FINALLY ended and I had my first day of KINDERGARTEN this morning! I have been SO excited, and a little bit nervous, but I think mommy was just plain nervous! It was a pretty rainy day today, so it’s a good thing mommy took my “back to school” pictures this weekend! I had SO much fun, and can’t wait to go back tomorrow (and I think it will be a little bit easier for mommy & daddy too)!

Aunt Bridget came to watch Ben & Emily so Mommy & Daddy could walk me to my bus stop & go to school with me for the morning! I started getting a little nervous when I saw the bus coming down the street…
…but I was SO excited!!!!!
My bus driver introduced herself and even knew my name, which made mommy & daddy feel so much better!
Mommy was pretty sad as I drove away, but we both put on our brave faces!
When I arrived in my classroom, I was so excited to see my name in so many places, and to meet my new teacher & all the kids! There are 10 girls and 10 boys in my class this year! I was also pretty excited when Mommy & Daddy showed up to spend the morning in my classroom with me!
My teacher put us to work right away doing different projects with our moms and dads at all the different centers she had set up…
Snack was my favorite center!
My teacher was pretty impressed that my favorite food was mushrooms! And guess what?!?!? She likes sushi just like me and my dad!
My cubby is easy to remember… it’s the very first one!
The best part of my day was meeting my new best friend at school… EMILY! We had so much fun together!
I love my teacher, Miss Gilroy, and I can’t wait to see what fun I’m going to have in Kindergarten this year!
Mommy & Daddy were waiting in the rain at the bus stop, and they were SO proud of me on my first day!
I am OFFICIALLY a Kindergartener now and I LOVE it!
