I'm learning EVERYTHING these days

My favorite thing to do is watch everyone VERY carefully and imitate EVERYTHING they do... even Cody! Mommy and daddy even caught me drinking from her water bottle! I don't understand why they thought it was so gross... Cody does it! Well, it was fun while it lasted, but mommy said I'm not allowed to do it anymore :( Sometimes is tough being 1!

My new swing set

One of our neighbors let me have their old swing set, and I'm really beginning to love it! I can climb up and go down the slide all by myself, and the clubhouse is my favorite place to hang out on a hot summer day! You should come by and play with me!!!!

Happy Father's Day!

I got to spend Father's Day weekend with my daddy AND my grandpa this year! We had so much fun together... playing in the sand, going to the zoo, swimming, and hanging out in the yard. I hope you all had a happy father's day too!

We all went to the zoo by our house, and my favorite part was feeding the birds. There were so many of them, and grandpa bought me some "seed sticks", so they could fly right onto my hand! It was a little scary, but I still loved it!

When we got home from the zoo, I got to go swimming in my pool, and play with my new bubble-making lawn mower that Nannie & Grandpa bought for me. Daddy says I was a big help "cutting" the lawn!

Daddy and I went swimming in our neighbors' pool... I always love swimming with him... he's SO much fun!

Daddy set up my new swing set, slide & clubhouse in our backyard. I'm not so sure about the slide yet, but the clubhouse was pretty fun... and of course the swing was my favorite. It's even better now that daddy has one right next to me!

Happy Father's Day dad! I love you!!!!!

I'm a big girl now!

I went on a playdate yesterday with one of mommy's friends, and I was opened to the world of baby carriages... I loved them so much, that we went to Target last night and got one of my very own! I love walking my baby all over the place!

But, this is what mommy finds me doing with it more often than not....

It can carry so many things... babies, shoes, sippy cups, blankets, Cody's toys... the list is endless! Whenever mommy and daddy are missing something, they ALWAYS check the baby carriage first... and most of the time they find it there!

95 degrees

It's a hot 95 degrees here today, and our air conditioning isn't all set up yet, so mommy pulled out my new swimming pool for the first time. I love the water so much, and it REALLY cooled me down! I love summer!

My first camping trip

I had a blast on my first camping trip this weekend! I loved going out on the kayak, and I even got to wear my cool life jacket. My favorite part of our boat trip was going for a dip in the lake. It was 85 degrees outside, and the water was SO cool! Cody loved swimming in her life jacket too!

Mommy & daddy's friends went camping with us too, and they have the coolest toy... a six-month old baby, Nate! We became great friends! I tried to teach him how to play ball, but he didn't get it yet. Maybe in a few months...

We went on a really neat hike to see a beautiful waterfall. It was quite a hike, and riding in that backpack is a lot of work... especially on a 90 degree day! Whew, was I tired... but I loved every minute of it!

Can you see my daddy and I on the top of the ledge???? I could see mommy down on the bottom, and she looked so tiny when I was up there. I even think I saw her covering her eyes!

Our tent was so cool. It was almost as big as my room back home! I loved running around the air mattress... so much so that I couldn't fall sleep until midnight. They tried to put me in my pack-n-play, but I was NOT having that, so I got to sleep with mommy instead (although I think I was the only one that ever got any sleep)!

Our campground was beautiful, and I can't wait to go back! Thanks mom & dad!

Happy birthday Brian!

For Brian's birthday this year, Nannie & Grandpa came for a quick visit and we went out for one of his favorite dinner experiences.....
