It’s my birthday! Abby & Emily made a special treasure hunt with clues for me to find all my birthday presents, and I had an AWESOME time! Thank you everyone for the awesome new toys!
After donuts for breakfast and my present treasure hunt, we all jumped into the car to enjoy the day at the Durham Life and Science children’s museum with Nannie & Grandpa. We loved it there, and can’t wait to go back!
There was a cool train we could climb on…
And a dinosaur trail!!!!!
We got to dig for dinosaur fossils…
And there was a mist exhibit…
It was a wee bit slippery though!
There was so much mist that you could hardly find me!
There was also a cool seed flying machine, where you could send up the “helicopter seeds” up a big machine and catch them as they fell off the end!
I needed Daddy’s help to catch them before the big kids did, but I did it!
We explored more about how air works…
We also watched how the wind took our sailboats around!
We even got to drive the remote control boats…
With a little help from Daddy…
Someone might be five, but still wishes he had a stroller sometimes…
After the outside exhibits, we headed in to the museum to check out even more cool stuff!
We found our home (before it was built) on an interactive map of the world!
We had an awesome time at the museum and topped off my fun day with spaghetti for dinner and an ice cream cake! What a great birthday!
