Our last day of driving took us from Virginia into North Carolina, where we stayed for one more night in a hotel before heading to our new house!
Mommy wanted to stop at the first rest stop to see if there would be a North Carolina sign to take our picture with, and we found a bunch!
I’ve been working FOREVER to grow my hair long enough to donate it to the “Pantene Beautiful Lengths” program which makes wigs for children with cancer. I thought I wanted to keep going (even though Mom & Dad are always begging me to cut it), but after swimming in the hotel pool this week and ending up with this mess every time, I made a last minute decision to do it NOW! It was so fun surprising Daddy, and I LOVE my new short haircut.
While we were in Virginia, Daddy had to work for two days, so Mommy took us out exploring. We found an AWESOME park to play at this morning, and then we went to see Zootopia at the theatre! We were the only ones there with comfy reclining seats, and we even got to have dance parties in the whole theatre when the music came on! It was an awesome day!

Today we decided to take a trip to the National Zoo for the morning, and Abby was so excited to see they had panda bears! She’s been working on a report in her old school on them, which made the painful 1/2 hour wait in line to see them worth every second (well, almost every second…)!

After a hot morning at the zoo, we headed back to the hotel for a dip in the pool!
We were super lucky because we got to hang out with Daddy’s cousin and his kids in Old Town, Alexandria. We had a great time going out to dinner and hanging out by the water!
For Brian's birthday this year, Nannie & Grandpa came for a quick visit and we went out for one of his favorite dinner experiences.....
