This morning, we were all up and ready to make the welcome show before the park opened! It was going to be an awesome day! One of the things Mommy did to get ready for our trip was to make everyone matching t-shirts! When we met Elsa, she REALLY loved the idea, and even thought she might make one for Anna for her birthday this year!
We LOVED staying on Disney property this time so we could ride the monorail everywhere! It was so easy, and Abby & Daddy liked “surfing” while we went!
Bridget & Mommy thought it would be a good idea to write their phone numbers on the boys just in case they got lost. They tried writing and covering it with liquid band-aid first, but that didn’t work, so Mommy used her two tattoos for them, which were awesome because they stayed on ALL week! Too bad we didn’t have a third one for Emily, since she’s the only one that ACTUALLY got lost on this trip!
The railroad wasn’t working during our trip, so the characters didn’t come in on it, but they still went to the station to sing and open the park for us!
Mommy couldn’t get a good time for the coveted and most popular Fast pass to meet Anna & Elsa, so we ran there when we first got into the park in hopes of meeting them. We still waited 20 minutes, but we did it! They were the very first characters we met, and we couldn’t have been more excited (except for Ben who was terrified…)!
We even got everyone’s autographs that we met, and Mommy put them on cool backgrounds for us!
Time to meet the snow queen herself!
It’s a good thing we went when we did, because the wait when we finished was over an hour! That was our first bit of Disney magic for the trip!
Next, we hopped over to the Beast’s castle at the Be Our Guest restaurant for breakfast! Our food magically showed up at our table 5 minutes after we got there! (Mommy had pre-ordered everything, but it FELT like magic!)
These were our choices!
With full bellies, we each took our buddies & headed out to explore Magic Kingdom!
The first stop was Prince Charming’s Regal Carousel… Everyone loved that one!
Next, week took a stab at trying to get the Sword out of the Stone. Legend has it that is sometimes comes up, but no one knows when or why… Our didn’t budge
Then, we headed over to Enchanted Tales with Belle, where Emily got chosen to play Mrs. Potts, and Abby was a dancing plate (although I think she was a little embarrassed about it…)!
Liam loved Belle, but Ben didn’t want to have anything to do with her!
Ben got the courage to go up to her at the end, but there wasn’t enough time… There’s always more princesses to see!
We got her autograph too!
Mommy bought the Memory Maker Photo Pass, so we had the park photographers take lots of pictures, and some of them were surprise “magic shots”!
After meeting Belle, we headed over to see Goofy and Donald Duck! Everyone loved meeting them!
The boys went on their very FIRST rollercoaster… Goofy’s Barnstormer! Liam didn’t look through most of it, but they both had a blast (although Ben said he didn’t want to do it again)!
After lunch (and finding Emily after she got lost), we headed over to Tomorrowland to ride on Buzz’s Space Ranger Spin and to Meet Buzz Lightyear himself!
After meeting Buzz, we headed over to Tomorrowland’s Speedway to race some cars… Mommy had NO idea how Abby was granted a drivers license after her crazy driving!
We took a short cool down break in the air-conditioned show, “Mickey’s Philharmagic”, and Madelyn took the opportunity to take a quick nap!
Our last ride of the day was Winnie the Pooh for the little ones, and the 7 Dwarves Mine Train for the big kids!
This is the cool video Disney made of the ride, and we are ACTUALLY on it in the video!
It was a warm day, so we all headed back for a dip in the hotel pool before dinner!
We had a huge waterslide inside a volcano at our hotel pool. Uncle Kevin looked a little nervous heading down…
We headed over to the Contemporary Resort on the monorail for a delicious dinner together! We were all starving, so waiting was hard to do… Good thing there are Disney cartoons playing everywhere!
After a bit of an allergy scare, Emily made a new friend at dinner, and didn’t want to leave!
Our evening gift tonight was a bunch of glow stuff to use on the nights we hung out outside!
That was going to have to wait for another night though… We were too exhausted after this amazing day, and we had to be up early to do it all over again in the morning!
