I did it!

My big sister got her ears pierced when she was six, so I decided last week that I was ready too! I showed NO fear over the process… until we were at the doctor…

Mommy took a few last pictures of my hole-free ears:

The doctor wrote a prescription for a cream to numb my ears, so Mommy put it on before we headed into the office…

…and she covered them with Frozen band-aids!

So far so good!

I got to pick the pair I wanted, and I was disappointed to find out they weren’t real diamonds… Mommy said the poor man who marries me some day…

The doctor drew dots on my ears first and Mommy & I had to approve. Mommy should have known it wasn’t going to go well when I said the marker hurt…

…AND it didn’t. At all… In fact, I decided I really only wanted one ear pierced, and I was ready to go home. Mommy made me stay and get the other one done though.

In the end, I’m pretty glad I got them both done!

Despite this look, I was really pleased to see my new earrings, and I feel like such a big girl now!

Now I’m all ready to be fancy for Uncle Ryan and Aunt Kristie’s wedding in a few weeks!
