We’ve had a fun family weekend together, which included a hike in the woods yesterday and a picnic by the lake (Mommy decided not to bring her camera, so you’ll just have to imagine how much fun we had)! This morning we enjoyed some time together at the Children’s Museum! Mommy DID capture these memories for you to share! Enjoy
It was VERY hard to peel Ben away from the trains long enough to look at anything else…
Emily & Abigail loved shopping & working in the store, and making pizzas in the restaurant!
A little girl from the post office kept calling the restaurant phone… We LOVED it!
Abigail and Emily practiced being tap dancing ballerinas! They even still remembered some of their old moves!
Emily made a wonderful veterinarian…
The girls were wonderful post office workers!
Daddy was a bit nervous to be going to this dentist…
Ben did well brushing the big teeth (when we were able to keep him from trying to put it in his own mouth… EWWWW)!
Playing house is ALWAYS a favorite in our house, especially lately while Mommy has been preparing for teaching all her baby classes & giving us demonstrations of sponge baths, diaper changes & swaddling. We’ve become WONDERFUL mommies (and daddy) in the past week!
Our princesses dressed up and headed into the castle, but our knight wasn’t into the dress-up…
Leave it to Emily to appreciate all the small exhibits too…
Ben did great on the giant lacing cards…
The trains were still the top of the list for Ben, but the ride-in vehicle exhibit was a close second…
He loved the VW Bug almost as much as Daddy did!
The only thing better than the vehicles (but not QUITE as cool as trains), were the dinosaurs!
The girls were doing a bit of cheating at the “Guess House”…
Off to the puppet theatre!
The pirate ship was a hit too!
A bit of music was fun too… and LOUD!
Who doesn’t love crazy mirrors?
Finally, a trip to the news anchor desk provided us with a lot of fun!
We even got to be on TV!
Mommy had quite the story to tell about some pretend hurricane coming while Abby took some great pictures!
What an awesome day! We love the children’s museum!
