My very first swimming lesson!

I took my very first swimming lesson yesterday, and I LOVED every minute of it! I was grinning from ear to ear the whole time, and can’t wait to go back next week!

Abby is taking lessons too, but we weren’t in the same class… but I got to go FIRST!!!

The only time of the lesson when there were no smiles was when my teacher asked me to blow bubbles… I just looked at her and said, “No, I don’t want to…”

I got over that pretty quickly though and headed out into the pool… with my face ABOVE the water!

I turned out to be a pretty good kicker! I even got my teacher all wet!

Floating on my back proved to be a little hard for me… I just couldn’t get my feet and legs to do what they were supposed to do!

I learned the “spider crawl” along the edge of the pool that Abby kept telling me about!

I even jumped off the side to my teacher! Mommy was so proud of me on my first day… I may even blow some bubbles for her next week!

Abby had an awesome time in her class too… she looked like a pro, and will be swimming in no time!

She wasn’t scared at ALL to put her face in the water and blow bubbles!

She’s even learning about different swimming strokes!

Somehow, her legs went a lot straighter than mine when she was on her back…

She was quite the jumper too!
