We had an awesome 4th of July weekend at Nannie & Grandpa’s house, and did so many cool things! We decided to divide our post into our different events, so you could check out all the fun we had! We hope you enjoy, and had a fun and safe 4th of July!

A Day at the Beach
We went to an awesome swimming beach by Nannie & Grandpa’s house, where we went swimming in the ocean and built sandcastles… Even Emily went in the ocean!
Annual Dinner on the Beach Night!
Every year we go down to the bay by Nannie & Grandpa’s house, and we spend the evening together enjoying the beach, swimming, throwing rocks, catching crabs, and having a relaxing dinner on the beach. Grandpa even brought the blow-up crocodile this time for us to ride down the river on… We were flying! The weather was beautiful, and as usual, it was one of our favorite nights of the year! Thanks Nannie & Grandpa!
Fishing on the Canal
This year we went down to the canal one morning for some fishing with our very own poles from Grandpa. We didn’t catch anything this time, and we were pretty bored after a few minutes, but it was still a fun trip!
4th of July Parade
Daddy & Nannie took us into the town of Southampton to see their 4th of July parade. We got lollipops & balloons, and loved watching all of the big fire trucks roar by! We got a little bored by the end of this one too, but we still had a blast!
Swimming & Fireworks on the Beach
Every year, we go to daddy’s Uncle Billy’s house on the beach for some swimming, good food, and a great fireworks show at night! Abby was more interested in the little baby boy at the party this year (she is SO ready to have a brother), and Emily kept crying out, “Oh no, I hide!” every time the fireworks got really loud, but we both still had a blast!
