We’re having a BROTHER!!!!!

We are SO excited to announce that after mommy’s ultrasound at the doctor’s office this morning, we found out that we are going to have a BROTHER!!!!! I have been asking for one of those for a long time now, and I’m so excited that God decided to make us one! I even got to see his “peanut” on the TV! I wonder if he’s going to like playing princesses….

Family Ski Trip in Vermont

We took a vacation this week to Smuggler’s Notch in Vermont with Nannie & Grandpa & Aunt Bridget and Uncle Kevin. Abby had her very first ski lessons with an instructor and daddy (she took 3 “daddy & me” lessons), and she did fantastic! By the end of the week, she was a pro at “green light, yellow light & red light”, riding the magic carpet up the beginners hill, riding the ski lift up the big mountain, and of course she became a pro at falling down! Emily had a blast playing in the snow as well… as long as she get to wear her ski goggles just like her big sister! Mommy spent a lot of time in the condo cooking meals, getting kids dressed and undressed & making hot cocoa, but she said she had a blast!

This was Abby’s 1st time on the lift with her instructor…

After a couple of days she even taught Nannie & Grandpa how to ride up the magic carpet & go down the beginner’s hill… She said they did pretty good!

As much as she looks like quite the pro here… she was actually standing still & had no idea how to get out of this position… It sure looks impressive though!

Abby had been talking for MONTHS about trying ice skating on this trip, but unfortunately, it was NOT all that she thought it would be. In fact, we spent a whole 5 minutes on the skates, and most of that time went spent in tears by both girls. Oh well, maybe next time!

Thanks for a great trip Nannie & Grandpa! We all had a blast!

Our family is growing!

We are SO excited to announce that we will be having a new baby in our family this August! Mommy is 3 months pregnant, and is finally starting to feel a little bit better these days (and her belly seems to be growing by the minute)! We already love this little one and can’t wait to have a new little baby in the house… We are going to make great little mommies! The best part is that we will get to share a room and have “BUMP BEDS”!!!!

Abby’s 4th birthday Princess celebration!

I had my special princess birthday party at Nannie & Opa’s house this past weekend, and we had so much fun! I asked everyone to dress up in suits and “poofy” dresses to celebrate, and everyone had a great time!

Happy Birthday Abby Grace!

I FINALLY had my “Four Birthday” today! Mommy & Daddy can’t believe how much I’ve grown! It was a cold, icy day, and daddy even got to stay home from work to celebrate with me! I got to open presents (I got LOTS of clothes, which is good, because I usually change outfits 5 times a day…), bake cupcakes with mommy for my preschool celebration, play princesses with daddy, and even go out to dinner at the restaurant of my choice. I chose Applebee’s so they could sing their happy birthday song to me! I was VERY shy, but I loved every minute of it. I had a VERY special day, and I can’t wait for my family party this weekend at my Nannie & Opa’s house! Let the celebration continue!
