Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! My very first one was extra special because we got to go to my Nannie & Grandpa's house AND it was my mommy's birthday! I even got to try "turkey vegetable dinner" baby food for the first time! MMMNNNN! I am very thankful for my special Thanksgiving, and all of you too!

Starting early...

Daddy said they're going to start potty training early with me... but come on, at 7 months old???? (Abby got a kick out of this though, and it was the only way she'd go potty last night!)

Playdates are so much fun!

I had such a great time playing with my friend Julie today! We played dancing princesses, colored, played in my Dora tent, played beauty parlor, and put on a puppet show for Emily! I love it when my friends come over to play!

Decorating the tree

Mommy let us celebrate her birthday early because I couldn't wait anymore to decorate our Christmas tree! We have so many pretty ornaments, and I did a really good job hanging them on the tree (even though most of them were on the same branch)! Now it's REALLY Christmastime at our house!

The Binky Fairy

Today was a REALLY big day in our house! The Binky Fairy came to my house while I was sleeping and took my last binky to give to all the other little babies that need them now! I've been talking about this for weeks with mommy and decided that tonight was the night! I was so brave packing up my binky for the fairy (daddy almost cried though), but it was kind of hard falling asleep without it. I was sad, cried a little, tried talking like a baby to prove I wasn't REALLY a big girl, & decided that I didn't want to be nice to the babies anymore if that meant giving up my binky, but mommy held strong!

Once I finally fell asleep, I made it through the night, and woke up to find that the Binky Fairy had come to leave me a special note and a present... plus LOTS of pixie dust all over the house! I love dressing up pretending to be a fairy, and mommy & daddy are SO proud of me & the big girl that I am becoming!

First time trying puffs!

I am growing up so fast! Today I tried eating puffs for the first time. I can't quite get them in my mouth yet, and mommy gives them to me, I'm not really in love with them yet, but I'll get there! I think I'll like Cheerios better...

Getting ready for Christmas

I just couldn't wait this year! I've been asking to put up our Christmas tree for MONTHS now, and finally, the day after Halloween, mommy & daddy gave in. I LOVE having a tree in our living room, and I still giggle every morning when I come down and see it! I've even gone shopping with mommy & bought Emily baby a Christmas present from me with my own money, wrapped it up, and put it under the tree. I can't wait for Christmas!
