That magical time of year…

We started getting ready for Christmas this weekend, and are all remembering how magical this time of year is! Getting down all the decorations and toys from the attic has gotten us so excited for the season ahead! We have so much to look forward to!

 

There’s the beautiful Nativity to learn about (thank you Mor-Mor!)…

Christmas games, puzzles & books to keep us busy…

Our Christmas Berry wreath is hung on the front door to welcome any visitors we may have…

Time to bring out the hand-knit winter hats and the snowman jammies to keep us toasty warm…

December 1st seems SO far away when there’s chocolate to be eaten (Thanks Nannie & Opa!)…

Time to help daddy hang the lights on the house…

Of course it’s time to get the tree up, with it’s beautiful new tree skirt (thank you Grandma Nancy!)…

It’s even time to start posing for the Christmas card picture… mommy’s breaking it up into a few “short” photoshoots this year to see what she can get…

Beignets!

I finally got to play Tiana with REAL Beignets! Thanks for helping me daddy… You’re awesome!

I’m a BIG girl now!

I’ve been sitting on the potty lately just trying it out like my big sister, and I finally went on it tonight! (Too bad mommy didn’t brush my hair for my first potty pictures…) Woohoo! I’m growing up so fast!

The Children’s Museum!

Today, mommy took us to the Children’s Museum with a few of our friends from the MOMS Club, and we had an AWESOME time!

We got to ride in and pretend to drive a fire truck:

 

We rode on a pirate ship:

Emily learned all about moving air & gravity:

We played house & Emily found a baby to carry around all over the museum:

We went grocery shopping in the store:

Abby delivered all the mail:

Emily got to be a nurse (although she didn’t like that part very much):

Abby & her friend Louise pretended to be ballerinas:

We practiced being artists:

Emily loved building with blocks & doing puzzles (her two favorite things these days):

And of course, the fun mirrors were the highlight… we could pretend to be tall)!:

My 1st haircut!

I’m not sure why mommy & daddy decided they needed to have all 5 of my hairs cut, but they did, so they put me though this awful experience… At least they got some cute pictures while I screamed my head off!

Christmas is on the way…

Mommy was trying to think of a way in which she could get out of putting our big Christmas tree up the day after Halloween like we did last year, and she came up with a great idea! She bought me my very own little tree for my room! Daddy and I put it together today and decorated it with all the pink ornaments I could find! I love it!

Tadaa! Now, this is a tree fit for a princess!

Mommy even let me sleep on the floor by my tree for my rest time! I LOVE Christmastime!

I’m ready Drew!

I don’t know what’s taking this kid so long to propose, but I talk about my wedding everyday! Mommy & daddy say they would like me to wait a little bit longer, but I’m too excited! Come on Drew!
