Gingerbread House Time!

We had so many supplies left over from our cookie decorating, and Mom got the decorating “bug” too, so we spent hours together making some fancy cookies and gingerbread houses! We love the Christmas season!

 

Christmas Cookie time and Mollie’s Birthday!

We had our annual cookie decorating party last night, and even got to celebrate Mollie’s 2nd birthday too! We all had a great time with friends, and it’s definitely beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here!

 

 

 

Elmo came to the party!

Emily learned how to play Happy Birthday on her guitar for Mollie, and Jingle Bells to put on a little concert!

All Mollie wanted for her birthday was a “big cake”… I think she was impressed!

After an amazing early birthday celebration in Europe this summer, I was thankfully healed enough from my surgery to spend my actual birthday having fun in Vegas for a few days with Brian! He did an amazing job making me feel so special! Thank you for all the wonderful memories, and here’s to MANY more!

Dinner at the Bellagio and watching the fountain light show from our table was awesome!

A birthday morning relaxing in a serene spa, thanks to my awesome sister, was wonderful!

A funny show about getting old was a great birthday treat!

My awesome friends even wanted to celebrate with me across the miles, and sent a surprise to our room!

As the sun set on my 40th birthday, the sky was beautiful, and a wonderful reminder of how much this life has to offer up to us, if we take the reins and go out and enjoy it! Thank you to everyone for making this time so special for me!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Nannie & Grandpa flew out to celebrate Thanksgiving with us, and we started our week together with a trip to the beautiful Angus Barn for a nice dinner! Their tree is always amazing to see!

All Emily wanted to do with Nannie was make eclairs, and they turned out awesome!

We enjoyed a fun Thanksgiving night with a big feast with our family and a few friends! We had a lot of helpers!

Abby’s First Band concert

I’ve been loving my first year of band in middle school this year, and have been getting really good at my clarinet! Mom, Emily & a few friends came to see my first concert, and I loved it! _abigail
