Since this was my last birthday celebrating in NJ, I wanted to have a friend party. So, Mom found us an awesome place to have it… Panera Bread! They have a “Bakers in Training” program where we get to go in the kitchen and bake bread, learn about the restaurant and decorate cookies! We had such a blast!

Mom was down in North Carolina looking for our new house, so she wasn’t able to be there 
After we got in the kitchen, the first thing we had to do was wash our hands…
Then you have to wear gloves before touching the food…
The head baker taught us about the kitchen, food prep and showed us how to stretch and score our french bread before baking them!
Ben was NOT interested in making bread, but he did take a peak in the kitchen with Nannie…
While our bread was baking, we went out the restaurant to decorate some spring flower cookies…
We all got to take home our aprons, hats, loaves of bread & certificates as Panera Jr Bakers!
We brought some cupcakes to enjoy together, but everyone was so full after eating all the frosting off the cookies!
I passed out Harry Potter themed goodie bags with yucky Bertie Botts jelly beans and Harry Potter glasses…
I had a blast! Wish you could have been there mom…
