Fun at Nannie & Grandpa’s House!
We spent the weekend having fun at Nannie & Grandpa’s house again! We went down for our annual “Dinner on the Beach” tradition, and had a blast! We started with a dip in the neighbor’s pool…
Then Nannie showed us how to make fancy flower cupcakes!
We had an awesome time down at the beach this year! We started out with some crabbing and swimming in the ocean…
Nannie found it really relaxing this year!
Grandpa made us the traditional spaghetti for dinner on the beach, and Ben loved it so much, that he practically took a bath in it!
Ben also loved playing in the sand this year! He’s getting so big!
He helped Daddy & Grandpa dig a big hole to play in, but Mommy saw it as an opportunity to keep us in one place!
It was so deep, Ben even needed help getting out…
… and Emily didn’t even want to get in!
We had a mini early celebration for Ben’s birthday with some yummy train cookies…
We can’t tell if he liked eating them or “driving” them more!
Someday going potty on the beach won’t be so cool, but for now, it’s the highlight of the trip!
We had a great family game of Frisbee, and we were all pretty good!
Grandpa was Ben’s buddy this weekend!
Grandpa even brought fireworks to the beach, and we stayed until it was almost dark to see them go off!
Abby wanted proof that Mommy was at the beach too, so she took this lovely family picture! She’s going to be an awesome photographer some day!
The nest morning, Grandpa found a tortoise for us to play with!
Ben LOVED it!
Grandpa even let Ben go on the zipline!
Emily has gotten really good at riding on the rope swing!
She and Ben love going on the tire swing together!
Thanks for an awesome weekend Nannie & Grandpa!
Happy birthday Brian!
For Brian's birthday this year, Nannie & Grandpa came for a quick visit and we went out for one of his favorite dinner experiences.....
