Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween to everyone! We started out our day by going to the girls school for their Halloween parade, and I LOVED seeing all the Ninja Turtles, Supermans, Spidermans, Marios & even Thomas the Train costumes!

Mor-Mor got to come to the parade too!

We found our little Laura Ingalls from Little House on the Prairie with no problem… NO ONE else had that costume!

Our Elsa was a little more difficult since half the school was dressed as someone from the cast of Frozen!

The girls danced to “Thriller” for all the parents with the other kids from school!

Abby wore Mommy’s costume from when she was little, Emily was Elsa (of course), and Ben was SUPERMAN!!!!

We’re so glad we got to spend the day with our Mor-Mor!

Ben LOVES our “No-Noggin” scarecrow that Daddy made before he left town.

Time for some trick-or-treating!

 

Ben wasn’t so sure of some of the scarier costumes…

 

As much fun as it is to go trick-or-treating, handing out candy is always much more fun!

Mom & Me Preschool with Mor-Mor

Mor-Mor got to come to my Mommy & Me preschool today, and I LOVED having her there! We learned all about leaves and pumpkins!

Pumpkin Carving time!

Just because Daddy has been in Seattle for two weeks, doesn’t mean Mommy wouldn’t get our pumpkins carved! It’s been a busy week with Mommy working & Mor-Mor here to help out, but we fit in all the festivities!

Ben thought the pumpkin “guts” looked cool at first, but he didn’t want to have ANYTHING to do with touching them…

Abigail is our “pumpkin guts cleaner”…

Emily tried her hand at it too, but only used a spoon…

Mommy helped Emily design her pumpkin…

But Emily did the mouth all by herself!

Thank you Mor-Mor for all your help!

Abigail did almost her entire pumpkin carving herself, and picked an owl pattern since she’s doing a report on the great horned owl in school…

They turned out pretty great!
