It was a beautiful sunny & windy day here today, so daddy & I decided to go fly my new Dora kite that I got from my cousin, Julia. I'd never done it before, and I turned out to be really good!

The only thing that could top a day outside with daddy is a little ice cream!

3 months old!

Today I turned 3 months old! I can't believe how fast time is flying by! I'm getting so much bigger, and my head control is amazing (at least I think so), so mommy & daddy decided to let me try my sister's Johnny jump-up. I LOVE it! I stayed there for a whole 15 minutes trying to figure it out without crying ONCE! Here's a little video of my first attempts... pretty good, huh?!?!?

Being 3 months old is pretty cool... Some of my favorite things these days are:

*Riding in the baby bjorn pack
*Sleeping in my baby swing
*Smiling at whoever I can find (it took me a while, but I've got it now)!
*Watching ceiling fans & my sister Abby playing
*Playing on my playmat
*Laying on my changing table (I could lay there all day)!
*Sucking on my binkie (Although I do have a tendency to spit it out a lot, I really do like it)!
*Being swaddled when I'm sleeping
*Figuring out my new jumper

I'm still a little fussy these days (mommy & daddy hope I grow out of that one REAL soon), I take shorter naps during the day, and I usually sleep 6-7 hour stretches at night (although lately I've been waking up because I miss my mommy, and I get up really early so I can spend time with daddy... I think they wished that I'd do it during the day instead, but that time will come)! One of my other favorite things to do is talking and cooing. I've become quite the conversationalist already! My first bowling trip

Mommy took me to one of our MOMS club outings this morning, where I met up with a lot of my friends... we went bowling! The balls were VERY heavy, and I got a few stuck on the way down, but I managed to bowl a 61... whatever that means!

Bowling was pretty cool, but watching balls shoot out of the machine was WAY cooler!

Our trip to the Bronx Zoo

Today we took my Aunt Bridget to the Bronx zoo for her birthday (it was actually last years present, but we never got to go). It was also the first time Emily & I had been there, and she actually stayed awake for some of it! I LOVED all the animals, and knew almost every single one!

I got to ride on a camel with Aunt Bridget... he was "really stinky"!



We saw SO many things... butterflies in the butterfly garden, zebras, giraffes, monkeys, gorillas, deer, elephants, and even a tiger!

I loved pretending to be a butterfly!

Aunt Bridget took me on the bug carousel where I rode on a caterpillar that was turning into a butterfly!

Emily did a great job staying awake for some of it, but a baby needs her sleep... and she'll sleep anywhere!

We had a great time in the Children's Zoo too, where I got to climb trees, climb in a spiders web, and even go down a really cool slide hidden in a tree!

We had a great time, but we didn't even make it out of the parking lot before mommy turned around and saw this...

We can't wait to go again!

Happy 4th of July!

This year for the 4th of July, we went to see Dancey-Dancey & Pop-Pop at a party! I had a great time eating hotdogs, going in the ocean, and watching the fireworks. I talked through the whole thing, letting everyone know what sound they were making, what different colors they were, and that they were coming from the boat & falling into the ocean... just in case they didn't know... Everyone loved my commentary, but mommy had a headache! Even Emily enjoyed the party a little before falling asleep as usual!
