Hanging out and having fun…

It may have taken a while to get to Nannie & Grandpa’s, but we found things to keep us busy during all the traffic…

 

…although that didn’t stop Emily from slipping Mommy this note before 8am!

Once we got there, a few of us kept ourselves busy in the kitchen (although the IDEA of cooking was cooler than the act for some of us…)!

 

While some were cooking, some of us were busy building Daddy’s retro video game console… It’s turning out awesome!

And still others, spent a bit of time playing dress up!

 

Ben was super excited to play his Minecraft Legos with those “big dudes” that came to visit…

Uncle Kevin bet Abby $5 that she couldn’t/wouldn’t drink 3 oz of hot sauce… He should know that she does NOT back down when challenged…

Everyone at dinner was so intrigued with the challenge that they got in on the bet too!

She sure put him in his place!

The one rule was that she couldn’t have water right after it, but Aunt Bridget pointed out to her that milk is NOT water… Uncle Kevin felt tricked, but a bet is a bet, and Abby totally won!

Our last day at Nannie’s was beautiful, so Abby & Mom took a walk to the beach together… It was awesome, and we felt truly blessed to be able to spend time together in such a beautiful place!

We had so much fun “hanging” at Nannie and Grandpa’s this weekend!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We traveled all the way out to Nannie & Grandpa’s house to celebrate Thanksgiving this year… We also got to spend time with our cousins and see our Aunt Bridget & Uncle Kevin’s new house, and we’re so happy for them! We hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving too!

I can see!

I had no idea I couldn’t see very well, so it’s a good thing my Mom & Dad had me go to the eye doctor to check everything out! It turns out that I need glasses, and it’s pretty cool all the things I can see now! Imagine what an awesome reader I’m going to become!

Thanksgiving projects & Kindergarten show!

I had a bunch of Thanksgiving projects to do before my big Kindergarten show, and they were pretty fun (well, at least the pictures made them look like they were fun)! Mor-Mor even came in to my special show and had lunch with me!

I had to disguise my turkey as something else, so that he wouldn’t be caught and eaten for Thanksgiving Dinner…

 

I also had to decorate a pilgrim shirt for my class show…

 

I was pretty goofy, showing off for Mom and Mor-Mor, but I loved singing “Turkey Trot” for them!

We got to have lunch together, and who wouldn’t want a McDonalds cheeseburger for a Thanksgiving celebration!

Field Trip Time!

I had my first big field trip with my Kindergarten class, and Mom got to come with me! We had a fun morning at the pumpkin farm!

We went on a hayride together, and we were super surprised to find out it was haunted! Even Mom was scared!

 

 

When I found out that I had to carry whatever pumpkin I picked, I set out to find the smallest, lightest pumpkin I could find! Mom thought that was pretty clever…

 

I had so much fun with my Mom, my teacher & my buddies at the farm!
