Spring Break Ice time!

While everyone we knew was off to warmer places for Spring Break, I was back home with the kids (and all the neighbors' pets) enjoying some quiet time... We did have a fun time watching Emily on the ice, as she's getting reading for her upcoming summer competition season!

Ben's 8th Grade DC Trip

It is finally Ben's turn to take the annual 8th Grade field trip to DC with his class, and this time Brian got to chaperone the two day adventure! I got more pictures than I expected from them, so I'm super impressed! The weather wasn't ideal this time around, but it sounds like they had a great time!

Ben's Band Concert

Ben's annual movie night band concert was a blast as always this year! And who doesn't love a pajama night at school!

Mr. Grimes was super excited to introduce us to his son, and I think he enjoyed his first concert!

Ben has a student teacher this year in band, who also directed one of their pieces and did an awesome job!

They did an awesome job! The next night we headed to see Ben's new school next year, where he'll be continuing his band journey in high school! Stay tuned for great things to come!

St Patrick's Day

We celebrated St. Patty's Day this year with our annual "Reuben" backyard picnic. I didn't get too many pics this year, but it must have been because we were enjoying a pint! Up the Irish!
