The end of Brian's 3-week long work trip took him to Seattle, and Abby was able to fly out and meet up with him for the weekend. She had a great time traveling on her own, but an even better time sightseeing with him! They only had 2 days to see it all, so they started at Pike Place Market...
Of course they had to stop at the original Starbucks for some coffee...
They got tickets to go to the top of the Space Needle, where they saw the whole city from the glass-bottom walkways... Abby was NOT thrilled about this part of the trip... She's not the biggest fan of heights!
They dined at Din Tai Fung- a famous place for amazing dumplings...
They had fun exploring the Chihuly Garden Glass museum...
The Mo Pop museum was a fun stop...
And no trip is complete without a quick trip to the aquarium...
The Seattle Underground was a fun tour where they were able to see the city's original 1850s street level, which was abandoned and built over after the Great Fire of 1889.
They got to visit the famous gum wall, and Abby contributed to it's latest work of art!
It was a wonderful blitz of a trip, and a nice getaway for Abby on her own!
