Spring Break in the Mountains!
We spent a wonderful spring break with our good friends at a cabin in the mountains. Our time was spent exploring, playing games, relaxing in the hot tub, enjoying some amazing views, watching Harry Potter, and even riding horses! Check out all of our mountain trip posts below:

A Day in Downtown Asheville
Our last full day enjoying the mountains was started with a big breakfast made by the dads!
We also had some more game time while waiting for the weather to clear...
We found a groupon for a scavenger hunt in downtown Asheville, so we drove the 40 minutes of windy roads, and enjoyed an afternoon of fun (well, a LITTLE less wind and a little warmer temperature would have been awesome, but we did what we could)!
We had puzzle clues to solve along the way that led us to our next stops, and we all worked together to figure them out...
We rewarded ourselves with a job well done and figuring out the mystery by heading to the Wicked Weed brewery for lunch. It was so much warmer in there, and it's Brian's favorite beer!
It was a wonderful way to end our fun trip to the mountains. Thank you to our friends for all the memories!

Waterfalls & Horseback Riding!
Our big outing of our mountain trip was a day spent horseback riding, but first we stopped to see a beautiful waterfall... These hikes are hard to come by, and this one was "technically" on private property, but since you could see it from the road, we were sure they wouldn't mind us getting a closer peek!
After our waterfall trip, we headed to the Smoky Mountains Trail Rides, and even though it was REALLY run down like the rest of everything in the mountains, we had a great time... Everyone was so brave and rode their own horses!
The views from the top were so beautiful!
It was an exhausting day, but we made great memories!
