We have been counting down the days until we could celebrate our “family Christmas”! Since we’ll have a full house this season, we wanted to have a little family time and exchange our gifts together. We had an awesome morning!
Two people were pretty surprised when they walked downstairs to find out they got new bicycles! Emily AND Mommy!!!
We woke up pretty early, so Mommy needed lots of coffee…
Ben was SUPER thankful for his Matchbox criss cross track from Emily!
…And Emily was SUPER excited to get the game Pie Face from Ben!
Abby knew she was getting a Magic 8 ball, but was still pretty excited to try it out!
Daddy loved the dart board he’s been asking for!
The big hit was everyone’s own Echo Dot for their room! Now we can all have music at night and alarms to wake us up!
Evidently all you have to get this “pre-teen” is a gift card to Justice, and she’s all set!
… and this little guy can’t wait to use his Target gift card from Dancey-Dancey & Pop-Pop!
Ben was super excited to see what his big gift from Mommy & Daddy was…
…but wasn’t too thrilled when he found out it was a new scooter he had to learn to balance…
But he came around quickly and was willing to give it a try!
The girls were super excited to get fishing poles from Grandpa Hawk! No more Barbie poles for these girls!
Ben took it upon himself to wrap up some left over Halloween candy for Mommy to open, and he was so proud of his gift… and his wrapping! (He only used half a roll of paper and a whole roll of tape!) 
Everyone loves to get our annual Shutterfly calendar, and this year Emily got to read the quotes to everyone!

We also asked Mommy to make us new placemats, and love the new “rustic” theme!
Abby was most excited to get her big gift this year… Rollerblades!!!

Our first Family Christmas celebration in the new house was awesome, and it didn’t help that the next day was 72 degrees so we could ride our new bikes!!!
There was A LOT of blood, so the girls went to the neighbors while another neighbor drove Mommy & me to the ER to get it checked out. It turns out I didn’t have to get it stitched up, but I got to eat Jell-o, Ice cream, yogurt and smoothies for the next couple of days!
