My 1st trip to the beach!

I went to visit my Nannie & Grandpa's house in the Hamptons for Labor Day weekend, and my mom & dad took me to the beach for the first time. It was too sunny, the water was cold & kept coming at me (my mommy said they're called waves or something), and the sand was too hot on my feet. Maybe I'll like the beach better when I get bigger... for now I'm sticking to my trusty bathtub!

I HATE peas!

I tried homemade peas today, and I think these pictures tell the whole story... GROSS!

Grocery shopping!

I've been waiting for this day! Now that I can sit up on my own, mommy let me sit in the shopping cart for the first time today. I LOVED it... especially hanging out in my "pink throne" and chewing on the grocery list! Shopping rules!

The trick to quiet meals...

My mommy & daddy FINALLY figured out how to keep me quiet during dinnertime. I've been trying to tell them for months that all I want is to suck on a wet rag! I can't wait until I can talk!

Daddy's company picnic

I went to daddy's work picnic today. It was kind of cold & overcast, but I had fun watching all the kids playing... I can't wait until I'm old enough to play all of those games & eat ice cream sundaes too! All of daddy's co-workers loved my shirt!

I found the sunshine & my shadow at the same time today! What an amazing world that God made... there's something new every day!
