ANOTHER photo shoot!

Mommy said she had to do this photo shoot today because I was wearing her favorite dress! I didn't mind... as long as I can play with my toys, pet Cody & practice standing, I'm happy!

Playtime with Daddy

I have SO much fun playing with my daddy, and he has a blast with me now that I can actually DO some stuff! He says he's already ready to teach me calculus & physics, but I think I should learn how to crawl first!

My buddy Drew flew all the way out to New Jersey with his mom to stay at my house for 4 days! We had such a good time, but he kept taking my binkie away! It was kind of rainy, so we went shopping at Ikea, played at the house, played in our baby tubs on the porch outside, and even went to the Kids Science Museum one afternoon. Thanks for coming Drew... I had a blast!

I think mommy & daddy are crazy, but they let me drive the car already! Now if I could only get daddy to agree to letting me date before I'm 30!

Happy half birthday!

Mommy made me a special half-cake to celebrate my 1/2 birthday! Too bad I'm too little to have any yet! She says we can make this a tradition every year! That means TWO birthday cakes every year for me! (Well, I guess only one and a half!)

I am 6 months old!

I am 6 months old today!

Here are some of the things I can do now:

* I can stand for a few seconds while holding onto furniture
* Most nights I sleep 8-10 hours at a time
* I can play peek-a-boo with a blanket on my face
* I can sit all by myself
* I can drink from a big girl cup with some help from mommy

* Things I like right now are: my johnny jumper, my playmat on the floor, binkies, Cody, my vitamins (yum!), making "Vader" noises, smiling, playing with my feet, bathtime & swimming, my nightly massage from mommy, playing with my plastic stacking rings, reading books, putting everything in my mouth, and MOMMY!

*Things I don't like very much right now are: tummy time, rolling over, burping before the end of my meal (I just scream if I'm not done).

I'm a pretty happy baby, and not much makes me unhappy right now! It's been a fun 6 months, but I bet the next 6 are going to be even better!

My smart dog

I love giving Cody her treats... and she sure loves taking them from me! She even does some tricks for me! She can sit, lay down, roll over, play dead, speak, stand, shake, stay, bring me a toy, and play hide-n-seek! I can't even do all of those things yet!
